Today I took my new Aquatech housing for it's first proper swim.

It was a perfect morning for it. Sun shining, blue skies.

The waves at Breakwall were small and there was only a couple of guys out, but there were a few longboards out the back getting some fun looking rides.

Here's a few shots that didn't have drops on the lens.

Sorry about all the empty wave shots.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day

I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with my family at a secret point break north known as Crescent Head.

Saturday's waves were fairly ordinary, but cleaned up enough for a fun little twilight surf, backed by an awesome sunset. (Caught by Kim)

Sunday morning we woke to drizzle and onshore wind, that, within an hour turned into sunshine and fun waves.

I took my new housing out for quick blast. I've got a lot to learn.

In town is pretty grey and uninviting this morning, so here's a few from the weekend.

I don't know these ladies, but they seemed to be enjoying Mothers day.

Spoilt

Spoilt

How spoilt are we?
With a light offshore, boardshort temperature water, and 1-2 foot peelers, there were three guys out at Towns this morning.
A took a few quick picks, but when two of those guys came in it was time to ditch the camera and grab the board.
I'm not sure where the rest of you were, but I hope it was fun.

The swell has dropped off a bit more this morning, but there were still some fun waves around.
I find after a run of good waves the mood relaxes on the tail end of the swell. There seemed to be a fair bit of joking around going on and no one was taking themselves too seriously.
Perfect day for a vintage singlefin.
A gang of faceless, one legged seagulls have hit town.
It wasn't all fun and games. Moz + Spray.
Foamy Fun. I think Andrew's just about ready for a real board.

The run of good waves continues today at Breakwall.
It wasn't quite at the same level as yesterday, but still looked like fun.

I think with the tide running out it should be even better by now.
Get out there if you can.

Happy Birthday Howey!
Pooge. Dropped his wallet.
You don't have to have the best boards or rip the hardest to have the most fun.

Fish in a Barrel.

Fish in a Barrel.

Some mornings it's a bit tricky to get a decent photo, and I wonder why I bother trying.
Day's like today, when the sun is shining, the waves are good, and there's a bunch of good surfers out, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

I know where you can buy these fins.

It wasn't just the young guys having fun.
