This will be the last post with water shots for a few weeks.
Whilst shooting these shots a man in a grey suit mistook my flipper for a fish and left me with a few stitches.
I'm a bit embarrassed with the attention it has received today. Who'd have thought it, a shark in the ocean.
I did manage to sneak in a few shots before all the fuss.
It didn't look too flash when I checked the surf this morning, but I saw Moz and Cambo hanging around the end of the Breakwall, and I had half an our up my sleeve so I swam out. I'm glad I did.
There were a few new faces in the line up this morning. Some young guys riding old logs and body bashing.
I wouldn't mind betting that they are on their way up the coast to the Noosa Festival of Surfing.
The sky was grey and the waves were a bit fat, but with the right equipment, there were some fun waves on offer.
When I arrived at the beach this morning, it was cloudy and the waves were average. Half an hour later, the sun was shining and the waves had turned on. The water is warm, and the wind is light. Get out there if you have the chance.
