There wasn't too much happening wave wise in town on Saturday morning, so for something different I swam out at the Northern end of Flynns to check out some empty barrels I spotted rolling in past the rocks.
It wasn't long before I was joined by a couple of enthusiastic bodyboarders.

There weren't too many great waves around this morning.
I almost didn't bother going out, but the sky was blue and the water was clear.
A backwash was making most of the waves pretty wobbly, but the occasional clean gem rolled through.
Clean water and waves.
There was the occasional fun little wave.
There are worse places to spend a morning.
The sun was certainly out this morning.

There's been a bit of North in the wind the last couple of days, which is not that common this time of year. Lighthouse has had some good waves so I headed out there this morning. The waves looked fun and the crowd was surprisingly small for school holidays.
There will be some more shots on our Facebook Page later today.
Run out tide + School Holidays = Barrels + Bodyboards.
The tide was running out and the swell has come up so the bodyboard crew were all over the Breakwall. The banks at Towns have been stripped away over the last month. There's more exposed rocks on the beach than I can recall ever seeing. If your chosen board is not suited to short sharp barrels, I'm afraid there's not much on offer in town, but you could be well rewarded with a little drive.
There was a couple of surfers amongst the bodyboards.
