Chaos

There was a mixed bag of surfers at Breakwall this morning. Ranging from enthusiastic groms to backpackers on bodyboards, there was all sorts of carnage and near misses. Sunday

The surf had dropped off but cleaned up at Lighthouse this morning. Being holidays, there were plenty of punters trying to get their share. The forecast is for a southerly change shortly, so there could be some decent waves in town this afternoon. Share Forward to Friend Looks like stripes are in.   What?!

busy

Everything gets busy this time of year. And the surf is no exception. With a lack of waves lately, anything that even looks like a wave is packed. Solo

There wasn't a single surfer out at Breakwall this morning, but the water was clear, warm and inviting so I swam out by myself to play in the shorebreak.   Share Forward to Friend Not too dangerous today.

I'm Back

It's been a while. Life gets pretty hectic this time of year, and there really hasn't been to much to take photos of lately. Due to the death of my hard drive and the loss of about 16000 photos, I was pretty keen to get back out there this morning. The swell was a bit lumpy, but there were still some good waves out there, and the crowd was light. The weather is perfect and the water is nice. Late

Sorry about the late post today. My memory card has been missing most of the day, but turned up in my car, right where I left it. There was a surprise bump in swell over night and some fairly solid waves pushing through Town Beach this morning. Combine that with a super high tide and I don't expect there to be too much sand left near breakwall tomorrow.   Share Forward to Friend Big Phil lines one up.   O'Raff chopped the back out of a couple.
